WHAT DO WE NEED:

Selextgroup is looking for talented and motivated candidates to work on high temperature water electrolysis and battery storage for hybrid energy storage and conversion systems.

Task Description

• Investigation of electrochemical devices for the production of hydrogen at high temperature and energy storage in batteries.
• Development of advanced test techniques for electrical and electrochemical characterization, simulation of work cycles and analysis of statistical data.
• Modeling of electrochemical energy storage and conversion systems. Disseminate the results of the research in scientific channels and presentation in international congresses.
• Supervision of PhD, Master or undergraduate students.

 

Specific Requirements

Compulsory Requirements:

• PhD degree in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related areas.
• Solid background and proven experimental skills in testing and characterization of fuel cells, water electrolyzers and /or batteries.

 

Other Merits to value:

• Experience in assembly of pilot prototypes of fuel cells, electrolyzers and/or batteries.
• Skills in modeling water electrolyzers and/or batteries using computational tools such as Matlab-Simulink, COMSOL Multiphysics or similar.
• Experience in research projects and international collaborations.
• Publications in scientific journals.
• Mastery of oral and written communication skills in English.
